Windy Lyle --- Continuing the Journey
I am Holistic Pelvic Care™ provider, this is a physical and energetic medicine which can provide restorative and preventative care for women’s health. The female pelvis goes through many shifts and changes throughout a woman’s life and needs bodywork just like any other area of the body. Our core health effects many other aspects of feminine health.
Over my career I have worked in several integrative care practices; I was a lay midwife, worked with women and children recovering from domestic violence and studied to become an early childhood development educator. I found the combination of these experiences in a nursing career - offering a gentle approach to help evaluate and restore physical and energetic balance to health concerns. There are many times outside forces in our lives that cause imbalance.
In 2002 I was credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have specialized in hematology and oncology at the Portland VA medical center.
I studied with Tami Kent, MS, a woman's health therapist who pioneered Holistic Pelvic Care (HPC). HPC helps to increase the strength of core muscles, enhance pelvic floor energy and vitality.
I am a wife, a mother of sons and a grandmother. I am blessed by the wisdom of daughter- in-loves. I love to walk, to sit quietly in nature, to explore health and the bodies wisdom. I connect more deeply with my ancestors while observing my grandchildren. I love the feeling of really laughing with friends and family.
It has been my great honor to have completed Tami Lynn Kent’s Holistic Pelvic Health practitioner training.
In September 2013, I completed Tami’s workshop ~ Level II Holistic Pelvic Energy: The Energetics of Creativity.
November 2015, Continued education with pelvic rehabilitation institute, Herman & Wallace. Completing course in : Pelvic Floor Function, Dysfunction and Treatment Level 1.
I am excited to step now into a new journey, to specialize in the balance and alignment of the female body and bring my decades in the health and healing arts full circle.
